Speaking Opportunities

You can share your expertise, findings from recent projects and case study insights by contributing to the BIEE’s events programme as a presenting speaker. Working with our Council and committees, we can offer you a platform to communicate insights that engage the energy community.

We put a lot of thought into developing our events programme to ensure each conference, webinar, meeting or lecture addresses the latest thinking and research across the sector. Our agendas reflect the most pressing and current energy topics and offer balanced insights from industry, academia and government.

Most of our conference plenary speakers are invited or are sponsors, as are our meeting speakers.

Speakers in our conference parallel sessions submit proposals, which are independently reviewed by members of the Conference Programme Committee and selected on the basis of quality, originality, and relevance to the conference theme.

It is important to note that presentations are intended to facilitate the sharing of professional experiences and lessons learned and not to advertise proprietary products or services. Equally a presentation that is too narrowly focused on improving the academic tools of energy economics for example, without showing how they might be applied to real-world issues, is unlikely to  appeal to mixed audience of energy professionals.

How to Apply
