Introduction
BIEE will be running another seminar along similar lines to the successful Kazakhstan Oil and Gas meeting held in May last year. This year’s seminar will focus on the Caspian region as a whole. Participants will be able to hear first hand from a number of prominent industry experts on the development of oil and gas in the Caspian region, understanding the aspirations, challenges and strategies of the companies working in this region. Some of the topics to be addressed include:
- Analysis of contemporary issues
- View from inside of companies operating in the Caspian region
- Discussion about current trends in oil prices
- Project engineering, design, procurement in Caspian region
The seminar has been organised around a series of short contributions from the speakers designed to bring out a range of different issues and encourage debate. This will be interspersed with plenty of opportunities for questions, discussion and networking during the course of the morning.

Venue
The Jubilee Room, House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA. Guests should come to the Cromwell Green (Visitor) entrance (the Cromwell Green Visitor’s Entrance is highlighted ‘F’ on the HOC Visitors Map ) Guests do not need to bring any specific ID but please allow at least 20 minutes to clear Security. Once in Westminster Hall, guests should turn right up the staircase . The entrance to the Jubilee Room can be found immediately to at the top of the stair case.
