The BIEE will be hosting a one day conference on Energy Finance on September 19th 2013 at the BIS conference centre in London.
Fundamental changes are required to the structure of the energy system to meet growing demand, rising emissions and consumer needs for affordable energy supplies. Major investments are necessary across the whole energy sector over many years. Ensuring sufficient investment flows where it is needed is a substantial and growing challenge for Government and industry.
The conference will examine how policy regulation and markets can work together to deliver the massive investment required to fund this energy transition. Is investment flowing where it needs to, and if not, what policy interventions are required to enable investment?
